Description

Designed and manufactured in the UK, our Zig-Zag Cylinder brushes are interlocking modular brushes which allow you to easily build and maintain a shaft-mounted brush system.

The ZZ26-203-0.8-PP-FD comes as a kit of 10 brushes and 2 end caps to lock the brushes in place on the shaft.

Multipurpose in their use, this kit features long polypropylene bristles creating a medium stiff brush face.

• Overall brush diameter of 203mm / 8″.
• Internal bore diameter of 1″.
• 100mm / 3.94″ long tube.
• 0.8mm crimped blue polypropylene bristle.
• 100% British made.

One of the main benefits of using our modular Zig-Zags is that on a traditional one-piece roller brush if one area wears down faster (which is common) the entire brush needs replacing. With our Zig-Zag roller brushes only the module which has word down needs replacing – not the whole cylinder.

Zig-Zag Roller Brush Applications

Whilst our brushes are multi-purpose, there are certain common applications where we can impart advice.

• The full fill pattern of this brush means that it can move smaller debris, cuttings, and fibres easily.
• For cleaning conveyor belts, this brush is particularly well suited to flat conveyors.
• Cleaning and clearing of wells, bores, and pipes.
• The brush will be highly effective for manufacturing and industrial applications where sweeping is required.

For use on a flighted conveyor and/or brushing larger debris, we would recommend the Medium Bristle Chevron Pattern.
