170mm Stiff Strip Brush / Reinforced Range

Description

Designed and manufactured in the UK, our “L” profile strip brushes can be easily mounted to an array of surfaces.

Each brush features:

• 1000mm long HDPE extruded brush back.
• “L” profile face
• 2 rows of 170mm long, 2.1mm stiff orange bristle.
• 100% British made.

By filling our brushes into HDPE brush backs our brushes can be easily cut to size without weakening the hold of the remaining bristle.

Differences between standard and Reinforced Range strip brushes.

Our strip brushes come in two different ranges; the standard range and the Reinforced Range. The difference being that whilst they both use the same strip brush profile shape – they come in two different sizes and proportions.

The Reinforced Range uses a plastic back which is roughly double the size of the standard strip brush; this provides a completely rigid brush, whereas the standard range flexes to allow for a wider range of sophisticated mounting options. This larger size also allows us to use larger bristle tufts, with more rows of bristle than in the standard strip brushes – though of course the standard strip brush can always be doubled up back-to-back to create a more substantial brush.

Applications for 170mm Reinforced Range Strip Brush

These strip brushes can be used in many more ways which we can list here or even think of. But there are some common applications where we can give advice.

• The strong stiff bristles make these strip brushes naturally suited to use in areas such as manufacturing, waste management, industry, and agriculture.
• The stiff bristles are great for heavy cleaning, and stopping materials passing through it –  such as on conveyor belts and production lines.
• The heavy-duty nature of the Reinforced Range makes them ideal for material screening in industries such as mining and mineral extraction, quarrying, waste management and recycling, and water filtration and screening.
